Required Bluetooth adapters
No specific brand required: a standard Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) adapter that plugs into the 6-pin port of your tachograph is enough. To work with TruckerMaster, the adapter must meet these technical requirements:
- BLE 4.0 or higher (Bluetooth Low Energy).
- Support for the tachograph's UDS / KWP2000 diagnostic protocol.
- Direct connection to the 6-pin connector on the front of the tachograph — no workshop wiring required.

1. How does it work? Zero heavy hardware, 100% freedom
The connection is established in a few seconds using a standard Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) adapter plugged into your tachograph port.
- Automatic connection: Once the first pairing is done, the app connects automatically as soon as you get in and start the vehicle.
- Zero cloud required: Activity frame decoding is done locally on your phone. No data is sent online, guaranteeing total confidentiality from your employer.
- Europe-wide compatible: Supports all versions of digital and smart tachographs (VDO, Stoneridge) in use across the European Union.
2. The key features of your co-pilot
The HOS Cockpit is designed to be read at a glance during your breaks or when stopped, thanks to highly contrasted colour gauges:
- ✔ HOS countdowns: Exact time remaining before your next mandatory 45-minute break, or before the daily driving limit (9 or 10 hours).
- ✔ Split break management: The app automatically calculates your split breaks (15 minutes then 30 minutes) and confirms the exact rest compliance.
- ✔ Audio and visual alerts: A discreet signal sounds 15 minutes before reaching a regulatory limit, giving you time to find a safe parking spot.
The HOS "Creep Forward" Assistant (Divisible Minute)
Need to move your truck a few metres in a queue (at a port, loading dock, toll booth or in traffic) without breaking your ongoing rest period?
This is where the divisible minute rule (EU Regulation No. 1266/2009) comes in. If you drive less than 29 seconds within the same clock minute and the remainder is in rest, the entire minute is recorded as rest.
Our **Creep Forward** module handles this for you in an ultra-secure way:
- 🚧 Guided step-by-step cycle: The app guides you second by second (10 s preparation → 24 s maximum driving → 36 s mandatory rest).
- 🔊 Audio beeps in the cab: No need to look at your screen. Discreet audio beeps and warnings guide you to start and stop at exactly the right moment.
- 🔌 Automatic Bluetooth UDS switching: As soon as you stop, the app instantly sends a command to the tachograph via Bluetooth to force the activity into Rest mode and validate your break minute.

Because the road has no borders, **TruckerMaster** is built to support all European professional truck drivers. Although the app was born in France, its compliance engines calculate the rules of European Social Regulations EC 561/2006 applicable from Lisbon to Warsaw.
