TruckerMaster on iPhone & Mac

On Apple? Here is how to install and use TruckerMaster on iPhone, iPad and Mac.

📱 On iPhone & iPad

No App Store needed: TruckerMaster installs as a web app, straight from Safari.

  1. Open app.truckermaster.eu in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share icon at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Choose “Add to Home Screen”.
  4. The icon appears with your apps. Full screen, like a native app, and it works offline.
On iPhone, reading a USB or Bluetooth card reader is not possible — that is an iOS limit. You import your .ddd file, and everything else works normally.

A real Mac application. Plug in your reader, insert your card, read — nothing else to install, no browser to choose. It is signed and verified by Apple: it opens on a double-click, with no warning.

Installation:

  1. Open the downloaded file and drag TruckerMaster into your Applications folder.
  2. Double-click it. macOS asks for confirmation the first time: click Open.
  3. Plug in your reader, insert your card, go to Import → Read your USB card.

One file for every Mac — Apple Silicon and Intel alike.

📄 Without installing anything — import your .ddd file

Open app.truckermaster.eu, Import tab, and load the .ddd file your employer downloads. No installation, and on any browser.

🔌 Read your card from the browser (the “bridge”)

If you would rather stay on app.truckermaster.eu than install the application, you need this small utility: browsers forbid direct access to smart card readers. Signed and verified by Apple too.

⚠️ In that case, use Chrome or Edge, not Safari. Safari is the only browser that refuses to talk to a local program: the bridge may well be running, Safari will not see it. The application does not have this problem.

Not sure which one? Apple menu → “About This Mac”: “Apple M… chip” means Apple Silicon.

Installation (once only):

  1. Open the downloaded file and double-click TruckerMaster Bridge.
  2. macOS asks for confirmation: click Open.
  3. The bridge starts, opens the app in your browser, and restarts on its own at each session.
